Superficial fascia (also known hypodermis, hypoderm, subcutaneous tissue, subcutaneous layer, or subcutis) is the lowermost layer of skin as well as integumentary system in most of all vertebrates.
It is derived from the mesoderm and composed of areolar and adipose tissue.
সুপারফিশিয়াল ফ্যাসিয়া:
অধিকাংশ মেরুদণ্ডী প্রাণীদের ত্বকের (অর্থাৎ চামড়ার) ডার্মিস (dermis) স্তরের নীচে আরও একটি চর্বিময় স্তর দেখতে পাওয়া যায় যা সুপারফিশিয়াল ফ্যাসিয়া (superficial fascia) নামে নামে পরিচিত। এ স্তর হাইপোডার্মিস (hypodermis), হাইপোডার্ম (hypoderm), সাবকিউটেনিয়াস কলা (subcutaneous tissue), সাবকিউটেনিয়াস স্তর (subcutaneous layer), সাবকিউটিস (subcutis) নামেও পরিচিত।
ভ্রূণীয় মেসোডার্ম (Mesoderm) থেকে উৎপত্তি হওয়া এই স্তরটি অ্যারিওলার কলা (Areolar tissue) ও এডিপোস কলা (Adipose tissue) নির্মিত।
