যে শরীরবৃত্তীয় প্রক্রিয়ায় প্রাণী দেহের লবণ ও পানির ভারসাম্য বজায় রাখে তাকে অসমোরেগুলেশন (Osmoregulatio) বলে।
অন্যভাবে বলা যায়, যে প্রক্রিয়ায় প্রাণী তার দেহস্থ তরল ও পারিপার্শ্বিক পরিবেশের তরলের ঘনত্বর সাম্যতা রক্ষা করে তাকে ওসমোরেগুলেশন বলে।
